Created out of an internet debate, I chose the arbitrary cow as an example of a valuable good, unlike a dollar. Cows can mean milk, meat, & leather, whereas abstract debased currencies aren't worth the paper they are printed on (if they are indeed printed & not digitally spawned). Currencies are ideas or concepts bought or forced into in order to broker exchanges for real goods, i.e., a cow. Maybe don't wear this button if you're unprepared for meta-materialism philosophy debates, historical anthologies on the history of economics, or the bickerings of modern economics. I read this stuff for fun, but it takes even me about 2 hours to explain past & present economics in a brief total.
